The first-ever 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible will be auctioned to raise money for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute.
On April 5, the auction will take place at the South Florida Fairgrounds in Palm Beach during the 10th annual Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. Bidders can raise their hands in person or online. If the coupe model is any indication of what to expect, the first soft top 2014 Stingray should raise a lot of money. The biggest question is if it will top the $1,050,000 paid for the coupe.

The convertible, which debuted earlier this month in Geneva, is powered by the same 6.2-liter LT1 V8 with an estimated 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.
