BMW’s smallest rear-wheel drive range was just spied testing in the Swedish snow.
When the cars reach production, they will replace the current 1 Series, which will move to share a platform with MINI to have a front-wheel drive configuration.
It’s the same strategy that BMW is employing by splitting its product line by moving the 3 Series coupes and convertibles to its new 4 Series name.
