Days after the car first debuted, Lamborghini announced how much American buyers will pay for its Aventador LP700-4 Roadster: $441,600.
That, of course, is before the government tacks on a $3,700 gas guzzler tax, effectively bringing the car to $445,300. But for that price, you get a base-level Lambo with 700 hp and two carbon fiber roof panels you can take off and store in the “frunk.”
For the privilege to take those panels off and drive with the wind in your hair, buyers will pay a $58,300 premium over what the 2012 Aventador cost.

Step on the gas in the topless wonder and you’ll reach 60 mph in three seconds flat. If you keep at it, the car is said to have a top speed of 217 mph, although testing that will be tough for most drivers.
